Tarsar Marsar Lakes, commonly known as the twin sister lakes are the oligotrophic alpines lakes
situated in the Anantnag district of Kashmir. The lakes can be approached via the different sides of
Kashmir which include Srinagar via the dachigham national park, Ganderbal via the Surfraw village
while crossing an high altitude pass which separates the Sundar Sar (Alpine lake) with the Tarsar
Lakes, and finally the traditional route via the Aru Pahalgam.
